As a family we have grown up with various pets and had a massive interest in animals from a very young age. My sister and I have bred and shown award winner rabbits, guinea pigs, and chickens and I'm now only 16 years of age.

In recent years my interest for animals grew, in the summer of 2017 I purchase my first flock of sheep and registered torddu badgers which contain 4 females and 1 male, they continue to graze on our fields based on the Gower. From here I continued to expanded my flock of sheep giving me a total of 11 ewes (females) 2 rams (males).

In early spring of 2018, I bought two female registered pygmy goats from a local breeder and friend, I named them cookie and crumble, both of which are the foundation females of my pygmy herd and are cream in colour. The herd has continued to grow rapidly and bringing us over 10 breeding nannies, this year’s kids, males and castrated males.

In 2019 I increased my flock of hens and ducks to sell more eggs locally, and in 2020 when lock down happened I saw a gap in the market for free range eggs, I grabbed the narrative to start an egg delivery service providing free range eggs delivered locally which now the business is called Gower free range eggs. – www.gowerfreerange.uk.

In late spring of 2020 the farm numbers increased once again seeing the new additions of our Welsh section C filly Rebecca and our pedigree Berkshire pig Matilda, who gave birth to Severn healthy piglets in midsummer 2020. The Berkshire pig is a rare breed with fewer than 300 breeding sows remaining.

Throughout the last couple of years the farm animals have continued to grow seeing another new addition in summer 2021 of our Micro-pig Wilma. In spring 2022 I purchased two male alpacas called Biscuit and Frodo who are massive characters on the farm and in late summer saw the newest addition to the farm which is our first miniature Shetland pony called Olly.
